In an express jeep tour, in one day we will see the gorge of the Tekes Valley and the waterfall. The road to the gorge goes along a dirt road, and around us at 360 degrees are amazing landscapes: alpine meadows, mountains, rivers, a variety of flowers and plants. This route will please any sophisticated traveler and lover of beauty. The waterfall itself is unique. It is small, but it is its shape, created by nature, that distinguishes it from all other cascading waterfalls. The most beautiful time to visit is June. Alpine meadows bloom with a variety of herbs, which looks incomparable, and the waterfall is the fullest in this month.

The waterfall is located in the border zone. It is necessary to have identification documents. Foreigners - passport. Originals.
Trip Timing
- 1 day
- 3.5 h (6:00 - 9:30). Transfer to Kegen (in the morning stop for breakfast and coffee at the Kompas gas station).
- 30 min (9:30 - 10:00). Refueling in Kegen. Short rest.
- 1 hour (10:00 - 11:00). Transfer to the turnoff to the Tekes gorge onto a dirt road.
- 2 hours (11:00 - 13:00). Transfer with stops in beautiful places to a clearing with a river.
- 1 hour (13:00 - 14:00). Lunch in the gorge by the river.
- 1.5 h (14:00 - 15:30). Hike to Tekes Waterfall. * If the barrier is open, drive right to the waterfall. Then we spend more time there and walk around.
- 30 min (15:30 – 16:00). Time at the waterfall. Photos, videos.
- 1 hour (16:00 - 17:00). Return to the car.
- 5 – 6 h (17:00 – 22:00 or 23:00). Return to Almaty. Dinner in Baiseit.
