What awaits you on this trip

Diversity of landscape
This tour will be interesting for those who love pristine nature and the spirit of adventure. We will see the extraordinary Tuzkol Lake and wide green valleys and plateaus of majestic mountains. In good weather, you can see the majestic Khan-Tengri peak 7010 m.

Overnight in tents
We will spend the night in tents, a million-star hotel. Magical sunsets and sunrises in good weather. In the evening, we will have conversations about the sublime and camping romance in a cool company of people. Far from the city and the lights of the metropolis, this is the best place for observing the stars and the Milky Way.

Hot springs
We will also relax at the hot springs in Chundzha. The springs are fed by water that is heated by magmatic intrusions in areas of active volcanism. Thermal mineral springs or hot springs of Chundzha are divided into warm (20-37 °C), or hot (37-50 °C) and very hot (50-100 °C).

Almaty – Lake Tuzkol – Ketmen Valley – Karatau Mountains
This tour will be interesting for those who love pristine nature and the spirit of adventure. We will see the extraordinary Tuzkol Lake and wide green valleys and plateaus of majestic mountains. On the first day we will visit Tuzkol Lake. Translated from Kazakh Tuz-salt, kol-lake, i.e. salty lake. This is true, Tuzkol is very salty and there is therapeutic mud on its shore. This lake is constantly compared to the Dead Sea, which is located in Israel, due to the similar chemical characteristics of the water. The lake (in good weather) offers a magnificent panorama of the highest peaks of the Central Tien Shan, namely the Khan-Tengri peak - 7,010 m (Lord of the Sky), Pobeda - 7,439 m, the Marble Wall and other peaks above 5,000 m. This is one of the favorite places for photographers, because there are huge prospects for photographs, open spaces and gorgeous panoramas. The best shots can be taken at sunrise and sunset. The snow-capped mountains reflected and illuminated by the colors of sunrise and sunset in the lake create a magical picture. The night sky with myriads of stars and the clearly visible Milky Way will plunge you into contemplative silence and delight. Flocks of sheep, horses and other cattle usually graze along the lake. Yurts stand along the horizon, reminding tourists that they are in the land of once nomadic peoples. If desired, you can buy real national delicacies from local shepherds, ranging from kumys, kurt and baursaks to lamb. All of the above will immerse you in the atmosphere of wild nature, beauty and pristine nature. During the tour, you will forget about the bustle of city life inherent to modern man and will completely relax your soul and body. We will either camp for the night near the lake (at the clients’ request), or we will drive deep into the wide gorge and set up camp by the river.
Lake Tuzkol – Karatau Mountains
The second day we will devote to walking, fishing, or an easy climb to the nearby peak of the Karatau Mountains. We will go on foot to the nameless peak of the Karatau Mountains spur, from where an amazing view opens up, to the same high snow-capped peaks and a wide green valley spread out below. Usually, by lunchtime, clouds of bizarre shapes, infinitely beautiful, gather here. The current natural conditions create a truly incomparable view. You want to admire and enjoy all this forever. Returning to the camp, we will have a hearty lunch, and in the remaining free time there will be something to do. Fishing enthusiasts can immerse themselves in this action. There are many mountain fish in the river - osman.
Ketmen Pass – Hot Springs in Chundzha – Almaty
On the third day, after waking up and having a hearty breakfast, we will set off on the return journey. Ahead of us lies a long climb to the Ketmen Pass, 3,045 m high. Having reached the very top, we will observe from a bird's eye view the spreading green jailau and the winding mountain road. Having stopped at the pass, having taken pictures and breathed in the thin fresh air, we will begin the descent from the pass. Having reached the asphalt road, we will soon stop at the famous hot springs in Chundzha. We will swim in the pool for an hour or two, have lunch in a cafe there and go to the megalopolis of Almaty.
