Wooden lake
The Wooden Lake got its name from the dried-up trees at the bottom of the lake. The lake itself is bordered by sandy beaches, which contrasts beautifully with its background. You can fish, boat, and swim on the Wooden Lake.
Overnight in tents
We will spend the night in tents, a million-star hotel. Magical sunsets and sunrises in good weather. In the evening, we will have conversations about the sublime and camping romance in a cool company of people.

Almaty – Chilik – Wooden Lake. District: Uyghur district of Almaty region. Total distance: 560 km.
Almaty - Chilik - Wooden Lake
On day 1 we will visit a wooden lake with an overnight stay. The wooden lake got its name because of the dried trees at the bottom of the lake. The lake itself is bordered by sandy beaches, which contrasts beautifully against its background. On the wooden lake you can fish, go boating, swim, watch incredible sunsets and sunrises. It will be interesting for photographers, fishing and hunting enthusiasts. Very beautiful places, you can catch great shots. On the horizon you can see the Altyn-Emel National Park. The lake used to be larger. Due to the fact that sands are advancing from the northwest, the lake is gradually decreasing. Carp, crucian carp, bream and perch are found on the wooden lake. Wild boars, foxes and hares, and wolves, respectively, are also found. There are many birds: ducks, geese, herons, cranes, etc. Therefore, this place is also promising for hunters.
Return to Almaty
Day 2. Free time (Fishing, walking, photography). And then return to Almaty.
