This tour is one of the most popular in the Almaty region. This is due to the fact that these natural treasures are among the most beautiful, unusual and unique. Having the status of national parks, there is the necessary tourist infrastructure everywhere, which allows tourists to relax as comfortably and with pleasure as possible. This route will surprise you with its extraordinary contrasts. During the entire tour we will see: steppes, canyons, alpine meadows, coniferous forests, amazing lakes, high mountains and much, much more.

Having left the metropolis of Almaty, the first thing we will do is visit the Charyn Canyon. On the way, we will stop at the Baiseit bazaar and buy everything we need. Having arrived in the Valley of Castles, we will walk down the canyon to the final equipped site. Along the way, we will admire and photograph the unusual and bizarre shapes of the Charyn Canyon. The descent to the final point is not long, we will slowly reach the river in 30-40 minutes. There we will have lunch by the river in comfortable gazebos, or in a cafe*, where there is national cuisine. After that, we will go back, visiting other interesting locations along the way. Returning to the car, we will go and look at Charyn from above, at the so-called panoramic point. After that, we will go to Lake Kaindy. It takes about 2-3 hours to get there from the Charyn Canyon. During this time, we will observe changing landscapes from desert to mountain through the car window. The road to the lakes itself is picturesque and incredibly beautiful, with panoramas of high and snow-capped mountains, grazing cattle in alpine meadows. In the most beautiful places, if tourists wish, we will stop and capture everything on camera. Lake Kaindy will make a strong emotional effect on the tourist after Charyn. From the deserted and hot Charyn Canyon, we will get to the cool forested mountains with an amazingly turquoise lake, from which the trunks of fir trees stick out. This is an impressive contrast that has a strong effect on a person. Completely different climatic conditions that are quite close to each other. By historical standards, Lake Kaindy was formed quite recently, namely in 1911, during a devastating earthquake.

Lake Kaindy is small, about 400 m long, about 21 m deep. The lake is located at an altitude of 1670 m above sea level, surrounded by coniferous firs. The gorge itself is a dead end. It will be enough for us to explore it from all possible angles in 2 hours.

After which, late in the evening we will return to the village of Saty to the guest house (or hotel). For dinner we will have national Kazakh cuisine. If you wish, you can go to the bathhouse and sit by the fire outside in the evening, watching the myriads of stars in the sky in cloudless weather.

On the second day, having woken up early and had a hearty breakfast, we will go to the famous Kolsay Lakes. It is not long to get from the village of Saty to the first lake, about 1 hour. Here, at the request of the clients, we either walk along both banks of the 1st lake and go to see the cave. Or we head to the second lake. With normal physical fitness, the walking part will last about 3 hours one way. If your physical fitness leaves much to be desired, but you want to get to the second lake, you can order a horse for an additional fee. Having arrived at the second lake, we rest, take pictures, walk around the area and return back to the car. After which we return to Almaty. On the way back we will stop and see the Black Canyon (Kurtogay), admiring it from above. Dinner in the village of Baiseit.
