Unique waterfall
Burkhan-Bulak Waterfall is the highest in Central Kazakhstan and has a height of 168 meters. It consists of 4 cascades, and the visible part of the 3rd cascade is 114 meters high. This waterfall is located in the Eskeldinsky district of the Almaty region of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the mountains of the Dzungarian Alatau in the gorge of the Kora River above the city of regional significance Tekeli.
Overnight in tents
We will spend the night in tents, a million-star hotel. Magical sunsets and sunrises in good weather. In the evening, we will have conversations about the sublime and camping romance in a cool company of people. Far from the city and the lights of the metropolis, this is the best place to observe the stars and the Milky Way. *There is an opportunity to stay in the Taubulak camp - in small houses.

What awaits us on this trip. The main goal is the Burkhan-Bulak waterfall. The Burkhan-Bulak waterfall is the highest in Central Kazakhstan and has a height of 168 meters. It consists of 4 cascades, and the visible part of the 3rd cascade is 114 meters high. This waterfall is located in the Eskeldinsky district of the Almaty region of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the mountains of the Dzungarian Alatau in the gorge of the Kora River above the city of regional significance Tekeli. The Burkhan-Bulak waterfall is located on the tributary of the Kora River of the same name, about a kilometer from it. The Kora River has a fairly large length, about 100 km and originates from the Bezsonov glacier, from a height of 3000 m. The gorge where our famous waterfall is located is accordingly called Korinskoye, as you might guess, in honor of the river. The climate in the Korinskoye gorge is changeable, however, as everywhere in the mountains. The sun can change to rain quite often, and rain to snow. And vice versa. During the day, you can observe different weather conditions. Which, of course, gives a contrast to this place. The road to the waterfall is very difficult, a real mountain off-road, but nature only benefits from this. Incredibly beautiful landscapes will accompany us throughout the route.
Return to Almaty
We get up, have breakfast and return to the city of Almaty. On the way, lunch at a cafe.

Border zone: The waterfall is located in the border zone. Identity documents are required. Foreigners need a passport.

What to take with you on a trip
*Not necessarily! Recommended clothing if the trip includes trekking. But even on regular trips, it will be more comfortable in mountain clothing. Otherwise, you can look at the list and understand what you need to take, you can replace it with simple things.
