Overnight in tents
We will spend the night in tents, a million-star hotel. Magical sunsets and sunrises in good weather. In the evening, we will have conversations about the sublime and camping romance in a cool company of people. Far from the city and the lights of the metropolis, this is the best place to observe the stars and the Milky Way.

Almaty – Kegen – Tekes River Valley – Tekes Waterfall
The Tekes Valley Gorge and Waterfall will be interesting for lovers of real wild nature. The road to the gorge goes along a dirt road, and amazing landscapes await us around 360 degrees: alpine meadows, mountains, rivers, a variety of flowers and plants. This route will please any sophisticated traveler and lover of beauty. In the evening, we will spend the night in tents by the river, with a fire and other inherent romance of such tourism. The next day we will go on a short hike to the Tekes Waterfall. The road to it goes along a beautiful gorge. The waterfall itself is unique. It is small, but it is its shape created by nature that distinguishes it from all other cascading waterfalls. After which we will return to the camp, have lunch and return back to the city of Almaty.
Tekes Waterfall – Almaty
Walk to the waterfall and the surrounding area for several hours. Enjoy the beauty and head home to Almaty.

Border zone: The waterfall is located in the border zone. Identity documents are required. Foreigners need a passport.
Trip Timing
- 1 day
- 6 hours. Transfer from Almaty city to Tekes Gorge.
- 1-2 hours. Lunch at a cafe on the way.
- While moving towards the waterfall, we stop at the most picturesque places to take photos and rest.
- Setting up camp, dinner.
- 2 day
- Breakfast.
- Walk to the waterfall and the surrounding area.
- Return to camp for lunch.
- Return to Almaty.
- Dinner on the way.

What to take with you on a trip
*Not necessarily! Recommended clothing if the trip includes trekking. But even on regular trips, it will be more comfortable in mountain clothing. Otherwise, you can look at the list and understand what you need to take, you can replace it with simple things.
