What to take with you on a trip
*Recommended clothing. This is a general clothing list for trips and hikes. You can look at the list and get a rough idea of what you need to pack. Similar items can be substituted.

- Spare socks.
- Trekking boots.
- Thermal underwear.
- Fleece or warm sweater.
- Wind jacket.
- Down or other warm jacket.
- Trekking pants, shorts, leggings.
- Long johns.
- Headwear. Cap. Buff.
- Headwear. Hat. Buff.
- Winter gloves.
- Warm clothes for the evening and night.
- Swimwear (if included in the itinerary).
Stuff
- Sunglasses.
- Sunscreen (for the mountains, 50 spf is better).
- Hygiene accessories (toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.).
- Foam sleeping mat.
- Personal first aid kit.
- Hiking backpack (10-30 l).
- Thermos (0.5 - 1 l).
- Flip-flops for relaxing your feet in the evening.
- Headlamp.
- Tent (if the route includes this option).
- Sleeping bag (if the route includes this option).
Additionally
- An ID card or passport is required for border crossings.
- Have some cash on hand. Not all places accept card payments.
- Earplugs if noise or snoring interferes with your sleep.
