Almaty – Border – Too-Ashuu Pass – Susamyr Valley – Chychkan Gorge (short walk). Overnight in Toktogul. Toktogul reservoir (550 km.)
Day 1. Today, we'll have a long drive along a beautiful road. Along the way, we'll stop, take photos, and walk a bit, taking a break from the road. We'll see three significant sites: 1) Too-Ashuu Pass. The pass is notable for its steep switchbacks and stunning views. The highest point of the pass is at an altitude of 3,200 meters. The northern and southern slopes at the top of the pass are connected by a 2.2-kilometer-long tunnel. 2) Suusamyr Valley. Suusamyr is a 150-kilometer-long valley located between three major ridges of the northern Tien Shan: the Kyrgyz, Suusamyr-Too, and Jumgal-Too. Since ancient times, this valley has been a very fertile place: it's no coincidence that the Great Silk Road passed through it. 3) Chychkan Gorge is a long and picturesque gorge in the northern part of the Jalal-Abad region, crossed by the Bishkek-Osh road. Anyone who has traveled from Bishkek to Osh by car probably remembers this remarkable place well. The wooded gorge, its slopes covered with Tien Shan spruce, flowers, and thickets of mountain berries, leaves few people indifferent.
Toktogul Reservoir – Naryn River – Lakes in Sary-Chelek (overnight in a wooden cabin). If the cabin is occupied, then stay in a guest house further down in the village (285 km).
Day 2. 1) Toktogul Reservoir. We admire and photograph the panoramic views from the vantage points and take a morning swim in the warm, clean reservoir. 2) Naryn River. We drive along the beautiful Naryn River, which constantly changes color depending on the light and weather conditions. We stop and admire the confluence of two rivers: the Kara-Suu and the Naryn. 3) Lakes in Sary-Chelek. We arrive at the beautiful lakes and check into a wooden guesthouse. However, it can't be reserved in advance, so if it's occupied, we stay in a nice guesthouse further down in the village.
A day's stay in Sary-Chelek. We'll hike around the lakes all day. We'll go to a panoramic viewpoint.
Day 3. This day we take a complete rest from the road and walk through the mountains, admiring the Sary-Chelek lakes from different vantage points and angles.
Sary - Chelek - Arslanbob. Early departure, arrival at lunchtime. Hike to a waterfall/waterfalls. Overnight at a guesthouse (228 km).
Day 4. Arslanbob. Today we head to the world-famous Arslanbob. It's considered one of the largest walnut forests in the world. Walnuts grow there everywhere. It's a place of incredible beauty and authenticity. Once there, you feel like you're in another world.
Departure along the Pamir Highway to the Lenin Base Camp. Overnight at the base camp. (380 km)
Day 5. Today we'll travel along the famous Pamir Highway. We'll cross two high passes. And by evening, we'll see the famous seven-thousanders, headed by Lenin Peak. It's a mecca for climbers from all over the world. We'll arrive at Lenin Peak Base Camp in the late afternoon. We'll check into the tent camp. Rest. A walk to the lakes (optional). Dinner.
Acclimatization hike to the Petrovsky shoulder, 4040 m.
Day 6. Acclimatization hike to the Petrovsky Shoulder at 4,040 m. Or, for those not planning to summit, paddleboard on the lake.
Ascent to Camp 1 at 4400 m
Day 7. This day marks the beginning of the active part of the tour for those wishing to reach a new altitude, namely Yukhina Peak at 5,130 m. However, for those who find this a challenging task, they can limit themselves to a hike to Camp 1, which offers all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Alternatively, they can stay at Base Camp at 3,600 m and stroll around and enjoy the views. Today's goal is to ascend to Camp 1 at 4,400 m.
Ascent to Yukhin Peak 5130 m. Descent to Camp 1 (4400 m).
Day 8. We're heading to the summit of Yukhin Peak. It's a hiking mountain, but quite high. It's perfect for getting to know your body and understanding how it functions at altitude. From the summit, there's a breathtaking view of the North Face of Lenin Peak (7,134 m) and the Alai Valley. The classic ascent route doesn't have any steep rock or ice sections and requires no special equipment other than trekking boots and poles.
Descent from Camp 1 to Base Camp at 3600 m.
Day 9. Returning to base camp at 3600m.
Base camp of Lenin village - the city of Kazarman (470 km.)
Day 10. *If the tunnel opens (still under construction), we'll cut down on travel time and go even further, to Kochkorka. We'll spend the night in a guesthouse there. That day, we'll have a long drive to the town of Kazarman. Along the way, we'll pass through many beautiful mountain passes and valleys. Lunch will be at a cafe along the way.

After crossing the border, we head to Almaty. If you'd like, we can stop by our famous location, the Charyn Canyon. We'll arrive there just before sunset, allowing you to take beautiful photos and enjoy the sunset.
